Currently I am a PhD Researcher at the Myron B. Thompson School of Social Work at the University of Hawaiʻi Mānoa and an East-West Center Graduate Degree Fellow. I earned my BSS in Social Welfare and two Master’s degrees in Social Welfare and Gerontology, all from the University of Dhaka. My research interests are aging, public health, community development, human rights and policy practice. I have a combination of 8 years experience in teaching and research and dedicated to use academic research to improve the living conditions of the elderly in Bangladesh.
