RUET always be aligned with the latest technology and adopt policies to incorporate the new technological advancement with its currently running system precisely. However it (RUET) values the past installed system and new technological facilities are established within the previous one.
In this university PABX system has existed from long before, and after
commencing IP phone network the system is not kept aside; rather it is still serving various sectors in RUET wherever it proves cost-effective and user-friendly. Some of its facilities are modernized to work as a parallel partner of IP phones. The details about PABX system with its architecture, technological constituents, personnel distribution and engagements are stated as follows:
