RUET Freshers Receive Machine-Readable Library Cards

Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET) has distributed machine-readable library cards among the newly enrolled students of the 2024 series. The distribution event was held in a festive atmosphere on Saturday (August 2) at 10:30 AM at the university library premises.

The cards were handed over by Professor Dr. Md. Rabiul Islam Sarker, Director of the Directorate of Students Welfare. Also present at the event was RUET’s Acting Librarian Md. Mahbubul Alam.

It is worth mentioning that a total of 1,235 freshers from 14 departments of RUET are being provided with these cards. With this card, students will have access to nearly 40,000 books available at the university library—an invaluable resource that will play a significant role in supporting their higher education journey.
