Prof. Hoque  received his BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET), M.Eng. from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and PhD from Saitama University, Japan. He is now serving as a Professor in Mechanical Engineering of RUET. His research interests include Active Noise and Vibration Control, Vibration Isolation, Mechatronics, MagLev System, Zero-Power Control, Renewable Energy, Energy Harvesting, Machinery Health Condition Monitoring, etc. He is a Monbukagakusho Fellow, JSPS Fellow, JASSO Fellow and JSPS-UGC Fellow.
