Md. Firoj Ali is Head and Associate Professor in the Department of Mechatronics Engineering at RUET. Previously he served as a lecturer from 2012 to 2014 and as an assistant professor from 2014 to 2015 in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) department of Pabna University of Science and Technology (PUST), Pabna 6600, Bangladesh. He holds an M.Sc. in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from RUET and has extensive experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership. His reserach interest includes antenna array signal processing, smart antennas, embedded systems, robotics, automation, and AI/ML applications. He has contributed to curriculum development, student mentoring, and Outcome-Based Education (OBE) initiatives and has organized and chaired multiple national and international conferences, including ICMIME 2024 and ACMI 2021. Md. Firoj Ali has published numerous journal articles and conference papers in areas such as robotics, automation, and signal processing, and actively works to bridge academia and industry, preparing students for global engineering challenges.  Actively he focuses on Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and industry–academia collaboration to prepare students for modern engineering challenges and innovation.
