Assistant Professor

Md. Golam Kibria is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET), Bangladesh. He earned his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from RUET in 2017 with the highest academic distinction, receiving both the Prime Minister Gold Medal and the University Gold Medal for his outstanding academic performance. He completed his M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution in 2023. Mr. Kibria began his academic career as a Lecturer at RUET in 2019 and was promoted to Assistant Professor in 2022. His research interests include solar energy systems, phase change materials, battery thermal management, environmental sustainability, and hybrid nanomaterials. He has led and participated in several funded research projects focusing on thermal energy storage, hybrid nanofluids, and solar still performance. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals such as Journal of Cleaner Production, ACS Energy & Fuels, Solar Energy, and Biomass and Bioenergy, contributing significantly to the fields of renewable energy and sustainable thermal systems.
