The Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology, Rajshahi widely known in its abbreviated name RUET, is the second oldest University of Engineering and Technology in Bangladesh. The history of RUET Central Library dates back to the days of Rajshahi Engineering College which was established in 1964. In this connection, RUET Central Library was established in 1965 during Rajshahi Engineering College as General Library.
The RUET Central Library is established in 2003 and situated at the middle of the RUET campus. It is a multipurpose two-storied modern building. With the several facilities of printed materials there are more additional facilitiessuch as Internet, Wi-Fi and e-resources. To promote education and research the RUET Central Library is one of the members of INSAP-PERI and UGC Digital Library Consortium for e-resources. In Consistent with the academic curricula the contents to RUET central Library are being updated consistently to keep up with modern technological trends.
The ruet central library is established in 2003 and situated at the middle of the RUET campus. It has own two separate two-storied modern building approximately 16000 square feet in space. the library hosts a vast and diverse collection of books and journals with a lot of reference collection. there are various sections in this library. it also includes Internet browsing facilities with WIFI technology to facilitate research and academic activities of students, faculty members and researchers.
